Our evaluation of the #JuvenileJustice Collaborative’s Deferred Prosecution Program in Cook Country, IL found:
- 99% of youth got connected to services
- 85% graduated from the program
- Youth in the program had lower recidivism rates
- 125 prosecutions were avoided

- The program was associated with 44% lower odds of picking up a new charge
- 125 prosecutions were avoided
