Yes! And he was absolutely wonderful to work with - I’d LOVE to work with Khary again. Dude rules.

Sadly you just watched the season finale first hahaha, but I’m glad you enjoyed it!

I can take no credit for the writing or the vibe of the show in any way whatsoever, but it’s definitely tons of fun!

The episode of TV I recently directed is LIVE NOW! I loved working with this whole cast and crew, and would hire so many of these people again in a heartbeat ❤️. youtu.be/nj64TK45GhQ?...
A picture of me in a comic book store, which has ‘set’ lighting. I am pointing and speaking while holding a script. An image of actor Rahul Kohli looking at his phone, with me to his left holding a script to my face while smiling, and looking at actor Khary Payton who is holding a comic book to his face and smiling. We are in a comic book store. An image of a man who is sitting, wearing a pin-covered Lakers jacket, a hat, and some orange glasses. I am sitting to his left and looking at him while holding a script. He also has a walky talky in one hand. We are in a comic book store. A picture in a comic book store of people smiling at the camera!

I genuinely could not disagree with this more strongly lol.

(It’s not that there’s no longer valuable information on the internet obviously, it’s just much harder to find considering the % of slop - AI generated and human made - is increasing so exponentially that the ‘actual information’ is being rapidly buried beneath it)

I realized I’ve been sort of mourning the internet lately. It’s odd. This ‘place’ that used to contain a wealth of actually valuable information, and introduced me to many people I now call friends, and which paved the way for my career, has almost completely rotted away. It’s not coming back.

Do you ever think about the fact that Wikipedia is the last good major website on the internet? You aren't bombarded with ads. It doesn't try to push video on you, and it doesn't redirect you to a scam site.

Similar to my Stop Killing Games video, I’d love to chat to game devs about their thoughts on GamePass. If you are a game dev, or know one who has Opinions On GamePass, and would be willing to share them with me (can be anonymous) please reply to this post!

In my experience, it’s actually to give the player a sense of a sort of… ‘closed door’ for an environment. It’s a clear indication that they are in a new environment/a transition from one area to another, sort of like a refresh. It’s very helpful for pacing, both story and gameplay.

Thank you so much! I sure hope so too 🫠

Also, if you don’t already, I would recommend sorta ‘throwing’ your first couple of encounters with every boss. Just work on learning move-sets - don’t even bother trying to hit them until you’ve learned how to dodge everything. I’ve never needed to use a guide and I figure this is why!

Ok weird, I wonder what it is about Judge that we took so differently! I think Sister Splinter was the hardest for me overall but it was just because of the double damage ads for sure, she herself was chill.
charalanahzard.bsky.social
Yeah! I wish it were a little harder so I felt more involved in the dance (akin to the Mantis Lords), but it’s still very lovely.
charalanahzard.bsky.social
(Fwiw I also just my first boss after Lost Judge and it’s the easiest so far in the game, like bizarrely easy)
charalanahzard.bsky.social
I found Soul Master to be the hardest HK boss (outside of NKG and Pure Radiance who I’ve only attempted once each so I can’t even comment lol), but I found the Watcher Knights really easy, for example, even though they caused other people some problems (and Soul Master did not).
charalanahzard.bsky.social
It was the exact same with HK1 - some bosses I found easy other people found hard and vice versa. I’d consider Lost Judge to be very easy (I didn’t equip anything special for it), but I found Sister Splinter (pre-patch) and Widow to be hard af - you’d have already done both of those!
