Recovering nurse, future novelist. Following me does not mean I will automatically follow you. If I follow you, it does not mean I expect you to follow me back. You do you and I’ll do me.
S Z “Cuddles” Sakall is also in Christmas in Connecticut with Barbara Stanwyck and mutters under his breath in Hungarian in a number of scenes. It is hysterical if you happen to speak the language - most of it amounts to insulting the looks of Nora the cook as well as the quality of her cooking.

One of my fave movies of all time- utter perfection.

Do they think there are penguins in Greenland? Are they really that dumb? Of course they are.

Felt the same about One Battle After Another. After all the hype it was a complete let down. Utterly meh. Maybe I missed something? And don’t get me started on the mediocrity of DiCaprio and his entire filmography.

You voted to fund terrorism - you should be ashamed. Deeply, deeply ashamed.

Hmmm, maybe you know someone who could perhaps write a book about how the president is cognitively impaired and his staff is covering it up. Oh wait, somebody did.

The Rest Is History released a 4-parter this week on the revolution and it was fascinating. I have vague memories of coverage about it at the time as a Canadian teen, but never really delved into how/why it happened. It was eye-opening. I hope your loved ones over there are, and will remain, safe.

Hubby and I had ours checked a month ago - we are both still immune, luckily, but this is good advice for everyone. This is all going to get worse.

The Beavis and Butthead of international diplomacy. I don’t understand how any country’s leader can manage to greet this pair with a straight face.

I live in her former congressional district. I was thrilled to vote for her opponent- you could tell from her mailers that she was just a nasty person.

Casting my vote for her opponent last fall made me very happy! Glad to see my low opinion of her was so spot on.

Fun fact about Curtiz - he was Hungarian and had he gone with the literal translation of his last name instead of “anglicizing” it, he would have been known to all as Michael Gardener.

It really is - I had to purchase the first puzzle pack because I became too impatient for the daily to drop every night.

You turned me on to this with a previous post and now I am obsessed!!!!

I live in her former district. Her mailers during the election last year were as disgusting as they were numerous. I was so happy to vote for her opponent.

The number of state and federally funded construction projects have dropped drastically since last year. Private sector is also putting a LOT of major projects on hold. We own a small GC firm with a niche specialty and it is shocking how many fewer projects are happening now compared to last year.

Can’t go wrong with orange and blue - I used a similar scheme for my office at work.
