If the SCOTUS are originalists then there is nothing irrelevant about my post. Even SCOTUS does not and should not re-write the Constitution

The 2nd Amendment was never meant to be a shield for gun toting thugs. It was intended to provide a colonial militia and to allow people to protect their hearth and homes against the British who were commandeering space in citizens homes without cause.

No, I find it refreshing although I never participated in the hatefest on X. As soon as it became X it was in my rear-view mirror. I think rational adults can and should have discourse without rancour.
