Sketching with Urban Sketchers Delaware at Rockwood, a gothic revival mansion and park in northern Delaware. The mansion has a small beautiful conservatory, of which I sketched a small corner. Brown ink & watercolor, 9x6”

Sketching this morning with Urban Sketchers Philadelphia in Mother Bethel AME Church in the southeast area of center city. It’s a historic building, built in the late 1899s and filled with examples of fine craftsmanship. The wood structure supporting the space over the main area is fascinating.

"Shady Bank", gouache, 9 x 12". This is a small creek that meanders nicely through "The Willows" — a park in southeastern Pennsylvania a few miles from where I live.
