I share the angst of people in communities gutted by globalization. I miss Main Street, the five and dime, and penny candy. But I don't understand why in hell they voted in a guy who never punched a clock, who dodged the draft, and thinks everyone is better off as long as he keeps getting richer.

The US, Russia, and China are a de facto axis of power dogs working within a militaristic neo-colonial framework to steal the natural resources of smaller countries. The engine, as always, is an assumption of racial supremacy wearing the stained cloak of nationalism. And the fuel is blind greed.

This woman was an observer when ice was arresting her Somali neighbors who are legal citizens. She was arrested and her legs kept in shackles for 5 hours and they CUT OFF her wedding ring when they were processing her. It is so appalling. In Minneapolis my hometown.

Noem says ICE doesn't separate families while multiple stories have unfolded where ICE did exactly that. She makes up stories of ICE being attacked when it later turns out it was ICE who did the attacking. ICE has zero oversight, but plenty of officials to lie about their lawlessness.

I don't know why this Afghan immigrant shot two soldiers. I am not going to dive into any particular conspiracy pool. But the last 11 months have taught me, over and over, I can't believe a damn thing that any senior member of this admin says.
