That needs to be the negotiating point Alberta teachers need to hold firm on. Class size cap that is collaboratively set or there's no deal. ATA gets equal input so teachers are represented across divisions 1-4.

I don't want confrontation which is why I think the better choice is to not go. I agree, things need to be sorted out but they cannot be forced.

I think distance is the best thing at this point in time. It's the more responsible thing right now.

I was invited to a casual event Friday afternoon which I declined. Still a deep, deep divide with an attendee going on that needs to be resolved at some point.

Bad idea committing to going. So I'll just sit it out.

Get us at least in the direction where classroom caps will be a thing in a following contract and I'll vote yes. That's the red line for me. I want classroom caps either in this contract or the next or we walk again.

Strikes are serious business. I don't want to lose more time than I have to. There's too much to do.

I can't afford to lose half a month and then expect to come back and be ready for a January concert. Not possible. I'm going to have to push my current music back to the second half of the year.

I'll be honest, if there's no tentative deal tabled by Wednesday of this week I'm going to need to throw out all the music I've selected for the first half of this year. Two weeks lost is an insane amount.

I agree but we all know conservatives are about self-preservation and they'll throw her under the bus if it means this problem goes away sooner rather than later.

Right now those Calgary UCP MLAs are bleeding votes. It will get worse the longer the strike goes on.

My body is conditioned for it anyway. I conditioned myself in July and August for this.
