I know theres so much other stuff happening right now, but still yesterday, ICE was speeding between my small town and adjacent ones and stealing people. It is still happening. Please remember Minnesota.
Part of an update on Minnesota news by well-known local observer Sean. ICE is targeting "sensitive areas" like schools and bus stops. There have been no high profile murders, but people are still being widely taken, threatened, and blocked from justice.

There are still protests, sure, but mostly they're just stalking the streets while people are trying to literally Live. And, again, cant stress this enough, This Is Also Happening In Rural Areas Like Where I Live, Where Crime Is Rare And 99% Non-Violent.

This is the definition of a terror campaign.

I had to unplug to get some important research done this weekend so i havent heard much, but if you also havent heard much due to ICE's swap to "subtler" tactics and/or epstein file noise: Shits Still Bad Here, Dawg. Beware the temptation to become desensitized to escalation. That's the whole point.

"If you dont live in Minneapolis, i need you to know a few things about the occupation. - the helicopters don't stop - there are so many abductions from cars that we have a towing moratorium and there are constantly cars parked haphazardly on the street-- these are often running or have their hazards on and there is often glass from broken windows by the wheels - even if you're stationary in one spot, you will likely see ICE multiple times a day - songs with honking or whistles on sports TV in bars get people to stand up automatically - Most restaurants, even those rhat arent owned by immigrants, have locked their doors - there was a military style checkpoint by the execution site of Alex pretti last night and people had to prove they live there with ID or mail to get into their neighborhood - whatever you see on the news or Instagram, it's worse"

"We're cautiously optimistic of a shift, but Minnesota has seen false spring before" is the best encapsulation of the current energy in this state right now haha. We Are Winning, But We Have Not Won. And the signs are there that if we back off, they will come down on us twice as hard as before.
