I agree, it did, but it didn’t last. It’s becoming obvious that what we’re doing isn’t sustainable. We need major changes in taxes, education, health care and the military budget, etc. The question is: Do our legislators have the guts to actually do their jobs before Trump destroys everything?

They can’t keep making things palatable to the regressives to keep them happy and still expect the Middle and Working Classes to believe the Dems are working for them. If we want real change, we need to make real changes, and that means new voices and fewer large donors.

I’m not talking about Trump. Trump is the walking dead. The current Dem Party only protects what previous legislatures have done. The last big piece of legislation was the ACA - and that was watered down for the GOP to sweallow. The Dems/Inds that come up with new ideas get shuffled off the stage.

Most of the Democrats are helping. Even when they have the power, Democrats dither around and fix nothing. Having two parties who run on each others’ inability to accomplish anything is useless.

It won’t happen. They are going to rally to Pence & RMoney as the “adults in the room,” so they’re going to switch back to Corporate Republicanism SS/DD. There won’t be forward motion because their Corporate Donors don’t want it. Also Dems won’t change either. They all flock to the money.

It’s still early days, there’s a lot that can happen between now and 2028. At least Kelly isn’t a doddering old man, but I need more than these few sound bites before I jump to voting for him. There are other strong Dems who could jump into the race at this point. But Newsom ain’t my #1 pick.

I’ve been saying this since his first tRump Trolling post, but online Dems/Dem adjacents insist on doing this. Remember when everyone got excited about Stormy Daniels’ attorney, Avenatti, calling for him to run for president because he smart-mouthed & stood up to Trump? That lasted a hot minute. 🙄

Wrong guy. That’s our former governor, Jim Justice, now our current senator. Justice has owed millions in back taxes for ages. The government almost seized the Greenbrier Resort for taxes.

I no longer contribute to “charity.” We’ve given billions to charities over the years and they’ve done nothing but throw parties for the 1%. From now on, I’ll just hand the money straight over to the people on the street.

He fired all the TJAGs (the top ranking lawyers in each service) appointed by Biden and appointed his own. This isn’t that unusual, and it was done when he fired all the top brass. After that failed “mandatory fun” rally Kegsbreath ran, I think we can safely say, this regime isn’t the ranks’ fave.

First they have to go through the military equivalent of a grand jury (Article 32 inquiry). Then it goes to trial. The trial requires they find a minimum of five officers his rank or senior to him. I’ve sat through a flag officer trial, even that was difficult. It can take years.
