Love the arts, cardmaking, papercrafts, reading, travel, baseball and BTS. I’m just trying to survive cancer and our nation’s politics. 💙
I have tried to see David Sedaris twice in the past but couldn’t because I got sick both times. Tonight, I finally got to see him. I am perhaps the sickest I have ever been considering I now have cancer, but it still feels like a victory. It only took 20yrs, but I did it.

I couldn’t get cancer treatment today because my body wasn’t healthy enough. I get it, but it just feels wrong.

It’s weird living in a society where the lawmakers want me dead.

The most important story of our time is not what Donald Trump wants to do, but what the people of this country allow him to do.

I’ve been taking an art journaling class at the cancer center. I love it. It is about the only thing that quiets my mind lately. That, and endless videos exploring junk journaling. #artjournaling #junkjournals

The GOP's "big, ugly bill" is actually a $1.2 TRILLION attack on working Americans.

$500 BILLION cut from Medicare.

$700 BILLION slashed from Medicaid.

Got tickets to see David Sedaris in October. Hoping third time’s a charm because my two previous attempts at going were disasters. I’ve been hoping to see him for years.

Had my first art therapy journaling class at the cancer center today. I really liked it and felt grateful I had the energy.

You set the house on fire, watched it burn, and then lost your nerve and put it out. You now have a partially burned house. Great job.

I really don't think the private equity approach to governing is going well, but what do I know?

Going to give Skylight Social a try. I know they are still working out the kinks, but TikTok isn’t the same since the first shutdown, and if an American billionaire or company like Amazon or Meta buys it- no thanks. PS- the App Store made it really hard to find. Interesting.

Seriously: arrest him. The governor should have state police arrest him and charge him with election fraud. Then immediately hold a press conference explaining you arrested someone for committing election fraud and will continue to do so. Just fucking arrest him already. You can actually do this

Today, the House GOP censured me for speaking out for the American people against @POTUS’s plan to cut Medicaid. I accept the consequences of my actions, but I refuse to stay silent in the face of injustice. #WeShallOvercome x.com/repalgreen/s...

This is Winston Churchill visiting the White House during World War II.

Funny how he isn’t wearing a suit either. Almost like he was a wartime leader defending his country from being slaughtered and wiped out by an authoritarian aggressor.

ppl getting angry at this but he's talking alliances and he's 100% right- you cannot trust a country where every 4 yrs the foreign policy does a complete 180 & tears up treaties and reneges on deals and withholds payments because some sheep farmers in Wisconsin think too many black women have jobs
America is over. There is no coming back from this.

If we're lucky maybe we claw back some small-l liberalism for our daily lives. But even that might be too much to hope for.

The rest of the world has to move on from us.

They now know that the American people can't be trusted.

They're right.

I can't think of a faster way to undermine the country than simultaneously firing government workers, cutting scientific research, rolling back protections on public health & environment, & cutting essential services. It's like the US was defeated in war and is being occupied by a hostile enemy.
