Today's full progress update on prints: we're edging closer to 50% done with printing! Printing some smaller pieces today and then tomorrow will be 3 days of the last big chunks. ❤️

Oh she's coming along niiiiicely.... As of this pic, the shield is 1/3rd printed!! It's already coming together so we'll and pieces I made to slot together are working perfectly.

It means the world to me to see the parts coming off the printer thus far and to know I'm doing it on my own with skills I've been wanting to build for literal years despite not knowing what's wrong with me or when I'll feel remotely better (or if I need to get used to how I'm feeling as permanent).

Ive kept a lot of this project close to myself chest as I've been struggling with new and more impressive medical issues since PAX East and the amazing Warcraft 30th anniversary event, but I've been pleading with the universe to let me get this one thing done.

My contacts came in months ago and I've got a barber lined up for when I'm ready to go on this too. Annnd I may have a Warcraft loving photographer (who just photographed my wedding!!) on the books~ to say I'm excited is an understatement

Next is more printing and waiting for PLA to arrive... I plan to print almost all of Faerin as a massive stress test for printing in general and learning process for myself! Ive already learned a ton and have begun applying said knowledge to *horrors* that some of you will see at PAX Unplugged!! ❤️

Printing has begun on the shield as I continue to prep her armor and main hand weapon for the printer as well. I had my partner do a linework piece on the shield and sword so I can make sure all the pieces are scaled correctly.
