My fellow Albertans are the biggest brokedick clownbabies in the world that aren't currently employed by ICE.
Culturally speaking, and I know this is sensitive but it needs said, Albertans are not so much like other Provinces except maybe Sask. We want to be left alone, we want to work, go home to a good meal, and we don't want people thousands of KM's away deciding our future while it knee-caps itself with regulation and policies. The difference lies in how much sovereignty they have within the US compared to our sovereignty within Canada. Montana, Texas, maybe ldaho, are republican states that Alberta is more like than our fellow provinces. USA is structured from the bottom up whereas Canada took lessons learned from the Civil war and when Canada was formed it was done so in a Top-Down fashion. Albertans are not compatible with the system because they don't have a say in the system. It is decided by Ontario, other provinces, and everyone else. We are pigeon-toed by international agreements we never asked for, guilted into conforming one too many times. The government will distort us for it's benefit, they exploit us and lock us down, they tax us and send it east, always east. The good goes east the crap flows west. When will we stand up and refuse the old ways? When will Canada let Alberta unlock its economy?
