I don’t know if the rules support NPC allies (yet!), but Leader type adversaries usually have an ability to Spotlight allies.

Something to consider! Especially if its for a more combat oriented feature

Amazing idea!!

That bridged into a nemesis system in my brain. The plotting expands…

I read up on the DRPCGL; its definitely intimidating, especially for a game so new out of the box--but after some review it looks reasonable?

Makes me wonder what the third party licensing is like for Daggerheart

Hmmm

You’ve given me a lot to think about!

I was a bit unclear with the text—source of damage meant the attacker or whatever dealt the damage. But if we make it about magical or physical damage instead there might be something there!

Great idea!! I was under the assumption that Experiences were used for attack rolls as well as skill rolls; if not, Analyze would be helpful for enemy rolls like tracking prey, using ambiguous magic against an Analyzed target.

It was more of a proof of concept admittedly!

Tier 2
Enchanter's Protection: Once per scene, adversary can mark a Stress to reduce the threshold of damage by one.

Etcetera, etcetera!

Polaris (Magocracy):

Tier 1
Analyze (Reaction): As the result of taking damage, mark a Stress to gain a +1 Experience titled 'Adapt (X)' where X is the damage's source. You may spend this reaction no more than twice against the same source.

I also recommend Forge!! Its foundry but you can keep the server running at all times for your players, plus its a little more stable for internet connection; thats a problem sometimes, some players computers have a tough time running the game

I highly recommend Foundry for people who want to tweak with their VTT experience, it can be fickle sometimes depending on what kind of mods you set your game up with! Its a cool interface though, I'm excited to see what people will do with Daggerheart on it.

I see!

Hunt Crow for sport, got it.

Ngl hoping to see more of that energy next time. It was REALLY funny narrating this somber flashback about Kassa’s life and what has been taken from her, interrupted by YOU with all of the raccoon gifs. The head emptying was genius lmao

5. Fear and Hope batarang around a lot to fun effect. Decisions I made were snappier, especially since I felt more confident to impose consequences on Successes with Fear.
6. Countdowns make for good impetus for players to scramble to think of things to do!
7. Environment encounters RULE.

Thank you!!! I just posted the homebrew environment I designed for tonight, I'm excited to see how it goes ^^

Rock on!!! Excited to look through it ^^

There is a kickstarter I saw for a book full of adversaries, created by some people on youtube who are creating content for Daggerheart.

I'm excited to see where it goes! It looks very promising!
