I try hard not to diss things online, but when it's all said and done, I could not care less about "Through the Omenpaths" on MTG: Arena. All cards basically say "This is not Spiderman but it is" and... meh.

I've never quite liked Moist von Lipwig in my original read throughs as I wasn't a fan of "reformed" con men. But I've read Scott Lynch's Locke Lamorra books since and I have a new perspective.

It's been a ride, friends, and I'm glad I still going at it.

I may just succeed at my "Read all Discworld Novels within a year" challenge after all. I started in November of last year and there are 40-42 books to read and I'm at book 33 "Going Postal". The only one I skipped was "The Last Hero" because it's closer to a graphic novel.

If you read a book and enjoy it, remember to write a review! It doesn't have to be a book report like you wrote in school. Just a few sentences is fine. "I enjoyed the spaceships and ray gun fights. The author has a sexy goatee. I want to have his little nerd babies." Etc. etc. It's easy!

There's a pervasive and tenacious game design conceit that d20 adjacent games will bring in more sales with less effort since you already have a freely available SRD to use as your game's DNA.

I challenge the "less effort"

But there's no denying the "less sales" if the game is well made.
