Coder, musician and (maybe - one day), author. But that doesn't mean I want to see pointless/boring posts about archaic computers; favourite books; or opinions about who was the greatest guitarist of all time. So stop it!
I remember when Labour actually represented the working class, (yeah, I'm old), and - even then - working class people would vote Tory. 🤷‍♂️

I think it used to be aspirational gullibility. I'm guessing in 2024 it was just "time for a change". And now? People don't like to admit they fucked up. Maybe?

Yep! They've managed to combine Johnson-level dishonesty with Truss-level incompetence. And then thrown in some Farage/Trump racism.

So we've got to "Labour aren't as bad as the morally bankrupt Tories" have we?

That's a pathetic low bar, and surely a sign that this government has completely fucked up. If they're not doing u-turns, they're shooting themselves in the foot. Anyone still supporting them is delusional.

Starmer is an (allegedly!) intelligent man. He had the dossiers detailing the risk of going with Mandelson. And he had an excellent incumbent. He didn't have to take McSweeney's advice. He chose to do so, when he had all the facts in front of him.

So yeah: Starmer is a fucking clown.

Rosalind Pike is just fucking brilliant - and a bit scary mental. But...

Saltburn? Nah! I got through it, but hated most of the characters. Which doesn't make for a rewarding experience.

I'm sure going to the World Cup will be fine!!!!!
February 1, 2026 at 7:40 AM
Surely it's a lot simpler than that!

Regardless of whom it might implicate or harm, (if there was no legal reason for withholding it), it should have been released.

Political weaponisation, by either Dems or GOP, shouldn't come into it. Locking up the abusers should be the sole aim.

In both the Good & Pretti murders, the regime has committed, at least, 3 additional crimes:
- tampering with evidence at a crime scene
- harbouring a suspected criminal
- accessory after the fact - by lying about what happened
January 27, 2026 at 7:03 AM
I doubt it. They're all complete fucking idiots.
January 25, 2026 at 5:02 PM
I'm guessing they're going for the "Let's invade Greenland" look.
January 25, 2026 at 4:59 PM
Just in case there's any doubt...

Clearly seen on video footage: Alex Pretti was pulled to the ground by 6 Federal Agents and executed.

The Trump (fascist) regime, within minutes, accused the victim of "domestic terrorism", claiming he intended to massacre agents. This is the BS version.

Can't comment on BBC coverage. Gave up on them long ago. But they seem to think everything deserves "balanced coverage". And are far too happy to platform fascist's bare-faced lies.

Hint for BBC:
If there's a "conflicting narrative", ones probably a lie. Call it out. Don't just repeat it f'wits!

Brit here. He can fuck off with his lying BS. We all know what Trump thinks of the military. And his (ex)allies. And law & order. And democracy.

If you're wondering what Brits think of Trump, here's a post, (by Nate White), I saved off the internet, for posterity:

The Trump regime is actively manufacturing grounds to invoke the Insurrection Act, with propaganda.

The blatant lies, following the murder of innocent US citizens, are not about a cover up. They are saying: "we can lie to your face, and you can do nothing". Urging you to retaliate.
January 25, 2026 at 10:48 AM
Let's fix it for them: "Video shows regime is bare-faced lying about execution of US citizen".
January 25, 2026 at 10:42 AM
Yeah, I saw that too. Fucking worthless MSM, are failing at the one job they have: reporting what's actually happening!
January 25, 2026 at 10:36 AM
Their lies are not intended to protect ICE agents. They're an invitation to resort to violence. And when the first ICE agent is killed, they get what they want. What little freedoms are left in the US will be lost.

And, "oh dear", no mid-terms.
January 25, 2026 at 10:30 AM
The reply was a bit rude.
Shouldn't "Fuck off" be preceded by "Dear Diana"? 😀
