Carr's entire testimony yesterday focused around now suddenly claiming that the FCC ISN'T independent and serves entirely at the whims of our mad idiot king. This was so important to them that they CHANGED THE FCC WEBSITE DURING HIS TESTIMONY to prop up his lie and pivot:

Still always in awe of how many apartments Canada builds compared to the US
In the most recent data, the US permitted 35k multifamily housing units and Canada permitted 24k despite being only 12% of the US population! If California built 5x as many apartments, it still would trail Canada!

To put that into yet more perspective: In the chart below, the purple area is too early (the law does not exist) and the red part is too late (the Supreme Court's newest Purcell principle). The pink bit is both too early and too late. The green part is when you should sue.

Researchers tested several ways to train the AI chatbots to persuade people. The most effective tactic turned out not to be pyschological manipulation, but simply addressing voters' concerns one-by-one by presenting a ton of factual claims.
Troublingly, that worked even when the claims were false.
