It's hard to argue that travel insurance isn't a good idea, but the non-paymentt rate is 0.6%. why not just prevent them leaving the country until they've paid up

Just floating this idea. Who would be up to join a travel content creator's union? The idea would be to get the scale to be able to negotiate directly with AI thieves/scrapers about being compensated. small companies and independent writers/photographers/podcasters/videographers could join.
