Here in Canada I would think attacking universal healthcare would trigger a unified pushback, but, if I put on my conspiracy foil hat it seems like there's a movement to reduce gov services so the right wingers can then insert private corp alternatives.

For those of you saying "we aren't over Melnyk yet", c'mon, it's over and it's pretty clear Andlauer has our backs. Our team is sandwiched between two legendary cult status teams so we have to get creative, don't retreat into small town thinking.

I understand everyone's reservations about reaching out to other cities but I DO appreciate the attempt to connect with a francophone base. Ottawa is a very bilingual city and the hockey team should represent that. I'm very impressed that the new owner often speaks French at press conferences.

Some advice. A sweeping statement like "if it's wapo its unreliable" undermines your integrity. This is such a dumb tactic when your goal is to fight misinformation. Now you're part of it.
