To say I'm emotional about this one would be an understatement. I quit my competitive Magic attempts on Doran back in 2008, and I started Commander with Doran during the beginning of the pandemic so that I could play online with folks. This one hits differently, especially that flavor text.
Doran, Beseiged by Time 1WBG Legendary Creature - Treefolk Druid Each creature spell you cast with toughness greater than its power costs {1} less to cast. Whenever a creature you control attacks or blocks, it gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the difference between its power and its toughness. 0/5 ...with two versions, the Lorwyn showcase frame on the left and the regular frame on the right. The regular version has flavor text which reads: "Each year that passes rots you with scars. Shelter your heart, for the world is cruel."
