Westpac evidently the only one with offsetting, helping us pay off the mortgage faster. But will switch back to Kiwibank eventually, for patriotic reasons, and I use it for my business banking.

Absolutely. Many will have work, like hospo, that brings them into contact with many others. Masking is esp uncomfortable in those environments, socially and practically. And some just keep insisting it’s a hoax or only a cold. 🙄

People will be spreading it around now. I was also fortunate to start Paxlovid on Day One and actually tested negative a week ago, which may have been a fluke. One negative test doesn’t man much, and Covid can rebound, with or without Paxlovid.

Although Sx haven’t been too bad on any particular day, recovery has been anything but swift. Still + today but very faintly. Even if I can in good conscience leave iso soon, I also know I must take it easy to try to avoid LC. Again, I know I’m privileged, feel bad for others & worried how easily

Yup. I’m at Day 14, waiting to see if today’s RAT will be negative. Apparently my prolonged contagiousness isn’t that uncommon ATM but I have the privilege of being able to iso and rest at home as long as it takes. This won’t be true for many, particularly precarious workers.

Awful isn’t it? You should be okay if you kept a good mask on. I was sitting two over from a Typhoid Mary Auck to Chch recently and my Aura protected me.
