State that might decide the senate. But fuck if that matters if this is how they operate

If Dems want anyone to vote they need to be an entirely different party than the one they are nkw

Anyways instead of wasting time voting or donating to ActBlue hit up your local mutual aid org or food pantry because they're a damn sight more useful than the Dems

His vote for Cuomo, Trump's favorite mayoral candidate, is more revealing

(And before anyone think I'm being too harsh a friendly reminder that close votes like this where the deciders are all not up for election or are retiring means a bunch of the "nays" are secretly "yays")

My guess? Airlines. Friday’s stock dip had them call the special phone that gets votes. With a looming party showdown between progressives and moderates, Schumer wants all the PAC funding he can get.

And caving lets Trump know the Democrats won’t stand and fight. He will be emboldened to do whatever he wants and Democrats will have no leverage to stop him.

I’ve been going without pay for 7 weeks for nothing. This feels like a slap in the face from someone who was supposed to represent me. They used federal workers as pawns and then couldn’t even stick to the leverage that was supposed to gain them? No discipline in these electeds. Primary them all.

No they know what they're doing. They're doing the oligarchy's (read: airline CEOs in this case) bidding

He's likely part of the "secret yes" club like Ossoff. Any time you see a "tough vote" like this and nobody up for re-election votes for it it means there's almost certainly "extra yeas" for the next time this happens. See: every min wage vote and the Dems that votw against it

in any case it is wild that voters just sent a huge message and a bunch of senate democrats are all, “it doesn’t look like anything to me”

Dems: "The election results are a distraction from kitchen table issues such as the billions we get from the airline lobby"

Senate Dems going out of their way to prove the far-left right that voting is a scam
November 10, 2025 at 1:00 AM
In any case, quite disinterested in voting after this. What's the damn point if they're just controlled opposition?
November 10, 2025 at 12:59 AM
That's only if you think Schumer and Co. aren't on Trump's side. They did like the same mayoral candidate after all...
