My favorite part of living with 4 boys and one bathroom is the fact that I’m almost never in the bathroom for more than 5 minutes and even then, someone is banging on the door after 30 seconds because they need to poop 🤦🏻♀️

I’ve never lived in a more suburban neighborhood as an adult until now and omg. It’s so overstimulating being outside and just trying to chill after a long day and one neighbor after another keep coming into your yard to talk to you 🤦🏻♀️

I finally ID’d the birdcall I used to hear every night in the summer at my old apartment!!! It sounded like a dog barking or a woman screaming…lol. I don’t even live there anymore but now I have closure (it was a black-crowned night heron)

That fact that I have to have a procedure ready for if ICE raids my workplace is absolutely insane. And the owners of the business are out of town for the week so I have to be prepared to be the conduit between my employees and our legal team. This is just wild

I’m moving to an apartment that’s 4 minutes from work and 4 minutes from my partner, is bikeable AND walkable to downtown, AND it has 2 bedrooms!
This past year was such an upgrade I didn’t think it could get any better but now there’s this- finally the good is outweighing the bad

30th birthday went great! Found a speakeasy, some tasty bites, felt cute, got tea cocktails. Walked 2 miles home at 2am, slept in til 11, and did absolutely nothing for the rest of the day. It was glorious
