Straight Gen Z men who spend all their money on sports gambling and Zyn are probably a lot more common than people who go by "Mx. [Last name]." But the NYT reporter didn't even bother to explore that and what their marriages are looking like (I'd imagine not that good either!)

This piece is bad. The example in their lede isn't actually a marriage, just a couple who call themselves married but aren't in any legal or religious sense.
