Is there such a system as a ‘counter-counter attack’?

In my head it’s aggressively attacking but with limited resources to keep ‘hidden’ shape.

Either you score, or opponent counters but you are ready for it. You turn it over and suddenly they are out of position.

Or is this dumb?

Huge congrats, a great app - looking forward to seeing what else you can add.

You can entertaining football, I’d just argue that if I were a team mate or the manager I’d prefer this type of action to be taken 18 yards from the opponents goal, not my own. But then again, for this specific case and looking from the cameras, I can’t be certain how ‘in control’ he was.

Yes but that’s why it’s risk/reward. Spinning a player ‘blind’ just outside your 18 yard box might break the press and allow you to progress, but you still have a lot of work to do as a team. But if that goes wrong, opposing team is 3 seconds from the goal.

Worked out great, but maybe debatable about how much risk/reward this is. if the pressing player had gambled the other way at the last second (he was gambling in the first place to be honest to be moving at such speed), then it’s a horrible place to lose the ball. It happens 🤷‍♂️
