Confused, needy, and I probably have a headache.

there is a certain condescension in the idea that “racism should be publicly unacceptable and come with consequences” is an attack on the “working class.”

Aw, man. I hope you get another egg-throwing opportunity soon. (Eggportunity? Sorry…)

I didn’t wake up today expecting to find myself with a deep need to see Naomi Alderman’s ass, but I’m not mad about it.

Maybe you just enjoy throwing eggs, and who could blame you?

I’m halfway through and deeply in love with The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell. Three-timeline catholic sci-fi with some older characters; the language is beautiful and funny and profound.

ZR5K is what made me able to do my first (only) 5k, and it meant/means so much to me.

I haven’t been able to run for six years (bones nonsense), but I kept up my subscription in tribute. Listening to that message from Sam just has me in a mess of tears.

Thank you.

Have you tried doing lessons in a web browser? Sometimes when you go back and forth, the resync can shake something loose.

This is the way, even as it sucks and I hate it. Let’s treat it as another opportunity to reward ourselves with a little treat.

Someone needs to get the message to a few of these narcissists that they could be worshiped as literal GODS in a couple of generations, if they put their money into things that actually improved lives.

First outing on a knee scooter after ankle surgery. Walking to the pharmacy, hit a divot in the sidewalk going faster than I should have been, flew over the handlebars in a full somersault. Landed on the grass w/the bad leg gracefully in the air; the endorphin rush even killed my pain for an hour!
