#ChatChemistry start with “all bonds are electrostatic attractions” then define the positive and negative “particle” of each toe of bond. Keep reminding the about “opposites attract”. Distinguish between “what” a bond is from “how” it is formed

#@ChatChemistry if I had a penny for every time a S asks if they need eye protection if they wear glasses, I will be a very rich teacher by now.

#@ChatChemistry we have quite strict H&S protocols and each HoD is responsible for their areas. We have half termly H&S committee meetings which I sit on. Wkly dept meeting has H&S item.
