We wanted it to be colorful since it's a realm of overabudant life.

My players finished my first big arc in Pathfinder last night, stopping the plague that was devastating Ravenloft.
My main villian? Viktor Leonhart. A mutaginicist alchemist on a demented mission to 'improve' mortals through strife.
I'll miss him.

Update. It's been 6 and a half months of prep and work leading them down the story arc, The Plague of Ravenloft.
I have succeeded at the entire reason I wrote out this quest-line.
