Sorting my ancient and/or remnant sock yarn this morning. I officially have 11 sock projects in queue, including one from a 2008 sock club.
Only a small bag of unmatched leftovers and some mis-matched skeins left to be assigned. Possibly in a final frankensock showdown with any upcoming leftovers.

Scrap socks won (again).
My best friend was like "...surely you've almost run out of sock yarn by now?", and honestly? I'm still not through the 10+ year old skeins and scraps. There's another few months of socks still in my stash based on that alone.

Lost to the Yarn Chicken final boss. Had to bring in the leftovers from the first sock for 3 toe rows and a graft. 🤷🏼♀️

The yarn wins this round. 11.5 rounds instead of the 17 I needed, so now it's a premature Stage 3 - hoping I have enough of the olive toe yarn for an extra 5 rows.
