I do wish legit emulation on ds/ds lite wasn’t a nightmare. Having to buy a 80-100$ game card to load emus on bc there’s no real internet sucks so my custom one is only for playing my actual ds/gba carts which sucks

The Thor is the only one where I feel like yeah that’s actually worth it bc it’s not only a glorified emulator w the top essentially being an android phone and an oled. But the gameboy clones are always kind of ?? To me

They’re really fun, i have one from years ago and it’s all normal hyml customization so it’s not hard to mess around. I do wish they’d improve their forums/how the news feed works but if you find active people there it’s pretty good

last year i got it from amazon (i know. ) and waited for it to be slightly into the new year when it got discounted. it was still like 40 but it was a hard cover one. this year its so much worse with the tariffs im shocked at the prices for some of these basic ones
