This morning, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order establishing “ICE-free zones.”
“That means that city property and unwilling private businesses will no longer serve as grounds for these raids,” Johnson said to applause.

It's a little more complicated than that. He would have to pardon them before leaving office and then it only applies to federal crimes. The states can move forward if they wish and even international laws could be at play. TBH, I don't think he cares enough about anyone else to pardon them.

These people forget that while Trump may have immunity, they do not. When this is over, I pray they will be held accountable. "I was just following orders" will not be a valid defense.

DOJ has sued 8 states for protecting their citizens' sensitive voter registration data. My law firm has intervened to oppose DOJ's efforts in the first two states -- Maine and Oregon.
