i went into this one with so much joy and whimsy at every turn, but the pacing started quickly dragging pretty hard

DOOM (2016) - 9/10
i enjoyed this way more than i did on my first playthrough from years ago.
i know some people have gotten tired of the comparison, but it really has felt like a near immaculate blend of Metroid Prime and Halo, and I mean that with endless praise.

Resident Evil (2014 Port, Jill Campaign) - 7/10
i really REALLY enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe of my first old school RE.
however, the sheer amount of backtracking and certain parts getting too obscure for their own good really drag the experience down.
we'll see if i go back for Chris.
