Trump has drunk the kool-aide of Putin and thinks he has authority over the western hemisphere. He does not.

A heath care system that would work in this country has been hashed over by thousands of doctors, nurses, patients, health professionals for over 35 years. I'm just going along with them and hoping this can actually happen in my lifetime. We need to be united and they have the best plan yet.

Current Medicare only covers 80% with 20% copay. Current health costs make 20% outrageously dangerous so Medicare first needs to be 100% to not push people into the Advantage care market which drains the Medicare trust even faster.

Pay their taxes and not exploit others. Rent-seeking is a term I too recently learned about that entails much of the evils of having to pay for nothing. Where's the value added by health insurance for example.

Aww but we all know that Medicare for All would not only save money but also lives! The savings would be the demise of the insurance companies and therein lies the struggle. The US's current aggression is posturing and to uphold the weapons industry's profit. We need leadership who cares about us.

Thanks for this as the devil really is in the details.

I agree! Keep it simple using our current private health delivery system but single payer as a national insurance trust much like Medicare, hence the name Medicare for All but also expanded and improved 100% vs 80/20 and cover all health needs. We could have it up and running in 2 years! HR 3069

You think we could have learned something from our Covid experience! Nope. We spend the most with the worse health outcomes that any similar countries. Capitalism and cronyism will destroy this country if it hasn't already.

I'm curious, what are you doing to make a publicly financed, non-profit single-payer national health program that would fully cover medical care for all Americans happen. Let's join forces. I'm following PNHP.org
