How about some criticism for the greed of the insurance companies? They should be named and shamed. Then -when they lose customers - they will be pounding on government doors, asking for relief. Meanwhile, like it or not, Democrats are the party we have and must support to fight #authoritarianism .

Yes. Sadly through the emergency room, which is a cost driver in and of itself for all of us. I believe people should be able to use ACA dollars to buy into Medicare. It would increase the pool adding healthier people and help its funding. But then GOP starts screaming socialism. They don’t care.

I don’t disagree with you on health care. But 40 + million people haven’t received #SNAP benefits. Food banks can’t help them all…it is supplemental. We can’t let kids go hungry, either. It is the proverbial rock and hard place. They still forced Trump into the longest shutdown and made him an ass.

He was talking about getting the ACA subsidies as a result. You can’t set policy when you are in the minority. The Republicans have tried to do away with ACA 70 times. They see this as their opening and would starve people rather than back away from ruining what Obama created.

If at any time they ran out of patience with the first option, they could move to the second option; at no time did they have to agree to Democrats’ policy demands.”
