I have played part of Inquisition but not finished it, from my experience it's not necessary, but there's a lot of lil nods and easter eggs to prior games! You can definitely play it w/o the others, but it's up to you!

Hopefully you get to play it in the near future! I'm on my 2nd run & the story is super enjoyable imo
