I see the "Exhibition" bracket as decks that want to show off a part of the game that does not directly contribute to winning. These decks should be allowed to play expensive cards and have a manabase that help them exhibit. I think we mostly agree on this?

I agree, but I don't think the price of the cards is one of those factors. In my opinion, the manabase should not matter either, but if it does, it should be the least important factor.

I trust you when you say their decks were not in the spirit of 'Exhibition', but it also seems like you undermined your position by bringing up things that don't matter when it comes to that classification.

Cut: Arcane Signet, Fellwar Stone, and Thought Vessel. Add: Commander's Sphere. Probably also cut some 5 and 6 mana cards for more 3 mana ramp. Sphere has some synergies, and with a 5 mana commander, you can focus your ramp at 3 to play the commander turn 4.

I already pre-ordered it on steam largely because I recently played through the first Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition and the Doom of Icewind Dale DLC. I look forward to more.
