My mother did not get her check in March. She immediately called SS and stayed on the phone for 3 hours. You know why? She has no other income & needs it for food, healthcare, etc.

My is an honest person who would help anyone. This is an attempt to blame the poor.

Shorn of the legalities, the Admin basic position is that we can do whatever we want if we say it's national security (and that includes Trump lies about same, which can't be questioned) and we don't have to tell court or anyone why.

New data from the US Treasury reveals that federal spending was $603 billion in February, which is $36 billion HIGHER than February last year under Biden.

This suggests that DOGE has done nothing to cut spending.
