yeah it’s the law :( sorry. i’m currently going by smurf rules and changing all the verbs in my novel to some form of “shark”

so much melodrama and camp falls short from authors holding back their earnestness— get into it and get STUPID with it!!! i still have to work constantly to shut up that little part of my brain that makes me avoid ludicrousness instead of embracing it
