Ended 2025 with an absolute banger of a starter; salmon rilette + salmon tartar inside of a tuille tube + a 'vegan scallop' in the form of a saltbaked artichoke served on top of a lobster 'bisque' creme.

I worked 1 weekend last month as part of my training and that earned me an extra $80 on my paycheck after taxes. I'm ok with this 😮💨

I have issues with one coworker and every now and then I think "maybe it's me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding her. I wish we could actually get along", but then I remember the time my cat got run over the same day she had to put her dog down and she tried to turn our mourning into a competition.

We found a bump on Kirby about 2 weeks ago and this whole week I have been so stressed and worried about it that I have hardly slept or eaten anything
Anyway the vet took a look at him today and while she can't give a diagnosis based off of feel, she did declare that it's likely just a whitehead 😮💨

First time in 2 years that I have had to hold back tears during a work shift from sheer frustration, but then I came home and found Balou indoor and ready for cuddles.

Gifting my parents a hardcover photobook featuring pics of most of the pets we have had since I was a child, and it's definitely been an emotional ride producing it 😭 Kitten photos of Blondie who is passed in July, Tomie who just turned 12, Pixie, Mickey and Jack who are gone and so much more.

Gifting my parents a hardcover photobook featuring pics of most of the pets we have had since I was a child, and it's definitely been an emotional ride producing it 😭 Kitten photos of Blondie who is passed in July, Tomie who just turned 12, Pixie, Mickey and Jack who are gone and so much more.
Sometimes I'm reminded of how my old dog once walked into my room, farted, and walked back out in the span of 10 seconds.

It's been 2 weeks and I finally have my voice back 😭🙏 It started as COVID, developed into pneumonia and now it feels like a regular cold with added breathing-issues but at the very least I finally have my voice back 😭
