Ours has always been positive, not because we have more babies, but because we attract immigrants. Now we are driving them away. Without a growing population, capitalism doesn’t work. It’s a bubble. And we broke it.

Changing the constitution will be very difficult. We do probably need a new one, but also very hard to do.
Personally, I think the next D president expanding SCOTUS to 12 justices and pushing for the electoral college to be proportionate rather than all or nothing would be more practical.

As a north side who moved to the south side, I’d also like to mention that the south side has minimal bus service. It’s point for future discussion, but if the question is accessibility it’s a desert down here.

ICE literally has to make up dirt and vilify a woman who said”I’m not mad at you” (or words to that effect) to justify her shooting.

There always are.
But by staying peaceful they highlighted the brutality of their opposition and built public support. ICE currently has incredibly low public support. And by continuing to point out the gassing of 6-mo old babies & killing of middle class moms they lose more every day.

There is a way to stay peaceful. Look at MLK/civil rights in the South, Gandhi/Indian independence, Mandela/South Africa.
