An illustration of Tharja from Fire Emblem, done in a sort of painterly style with a thick, bristly digital brush. She's on her knees and leaning forward on her hands, cape draped over her back, looking at the viewer with black, lightless eyes and the barest hint of a smile forming on her lips. The background is abstract and purpley-blue with little flecks of vivid pink. Painterly-style stuff is difficult for me, but I find it very rewarding. Pleasantly surprised with how this one turned out, and hopefully learned some stuff that will help with my next attempt at this style.

A painted sketch of a nude woman standing thighs-deep in a round hole in the ice of a wintry pond. Instead of water, the pond seems to be filled with blood, and the shape of the cracked ice and the surrounding snow vaguely resembles the shape of a large eye. Bare trees and sticks and dead undergrowth surround the edges of the scene. This was based on a photo I saw on Pinterest, of some ice on a pond that looked like a big eye. I made the water blood and added a naked lady, because that seemed like a cooler concept to me. Just more painting practice!

Queen of Hell, Miku
A drawing of my original Miku design, Queen of Hell Miku. She's nude with pink skin, pale greenish hair that's nearly white, and black eyes with square yellow pupils. Instead of headphones, she has huge ram horns that curl back behind her head and then extend out to each side, and her incredibly long twintails hang out from them and trail into the thigh-deep ocean of blood she's standing in. A snake wraps around her body, covering her crotch and then curling around her neck like a tie. A red halo floats above her head, and in the distance, the empty sockets of giant skulls feed waterfalls of blood into the red sea. I wanted to design an edgy evil Miku!! I tried lots of different concepts, even a Lovecraftian/The Thing-inspired one, but ended up going with a demon. Her tie is a snake and her headphones are horns...she is cute and evil...
