The BIN system is responsible for safely storing EDI files into one of two database representations. The BIN system can be used to manipulate files and re-encode to EDI, or used to do SQL-based analytics on incoming data on the client-supplied SQL Server.

The Trigger system is what distributes system resources when many files are being processed at once, and will balance the load when different business processes are vying for resources at once.

The Mapping system is the beating heart of the product. It renders the most complex HIPAA EDI files directly into named maps with suffixes like SSN or TIN. And, going the other direction, enables users to encode complex EDI files using the same syntax using strongly-typed, logical field names.

There's a few systems built into SERENEDI. The built-in Pipeline system is a natural starting point for many, as it enables a number of standard transformations (EDI to XML, XML to EDI, EDI to database, etc.) just by dropping files into a folder - just install SERENEDI and go.
