SoA are also directly responsible for getting me into NiGHTS by sending me NiGHTS stuff before the game released. They knew I was a loyal Sonic fan and were trying to convince me NiGHTS was cool too. And then yeah, rest is history. Weird how things turn out.

Updating this with something else I remembered. One time for a school project I sent a disposable camera and sent it to Jenny along with a bunch of detailed questions about SEGA as a company. I still have some of the photos they took for me and sent back. Here's Jenny and Linda back in 1995 ☺️

The team really kept me on the rails when I was a little kid going through some terrible stuff. I'm so thankful that people like that exist out there who give time out of their day to help strangers. Every act of kindness is like a domino effect.

Something you should know about me is that I was bullied mercilessly as a kid for many years in school due to a number of reasons. One, I was homeless for years, two my family name had a bad stigma attached to it, three I was talented at art, four I was a big Sonic fan. Being alive sucked a lot.

But I was so SO determined to get out of all that and follow my dreams. After SEGA started looking out for me the bullying stopped. My life changed.
So yeah I owe them a lot for a lot of different things, not just because I was a fan. I feel like I was incredibly lucky. I am grateful.

Also! The day I started at the company in a professional capacity at SoE I probably scared my friends with how happy I looked XD But none of them knew what the deal with me was haha. Thinking back its really funny.
