Gotta admit, today after walking 7 minutes to Wrigley, waiting 15 for hometown boy John Summit to start his free pop up set prior to game 3 of the division series and seeing the crowd get into it, dancing and feeling the hometown pride and unity of our city under attack by Cheeto, I got a bit misty.

My mama did a lot of things right. One of them was telling me constantly I could do/be anything I wanted. It doesn’t occur to me I could fail (I have btw). I can’t not do something or take a stand
