Currently reading. Can confirm it is indeed an extremely queer heist story with double-crossing and hippopotamuses. 5/5 stars.

Snowy egrets almost went extinct in the 19th century because their feathers were in such high demand for ladies' fashions. Delilah was showing off some of her lovely, delicate feathers today.
A white bird with a longish, pointed beak and long skinny legs stands on metal railing. Long, delicate feathers are visible on her chest and back/bottom. They almost look to be as fine as hair. The ones on her back curl slightly upwards. She looks downy and soft.

Took Donut on his first public outing this evening, to the pet store. We met a nice man there who left us a $20 gift card at the register as an adoption gift! 😭 Thank you, kind stranger!

LEST anyone think I'm exaggerating.... I put a yellow line next to each flag. This is just what is visible from our house. You may have to click to see the whole thing.
