Providing bonds to cover reclamation and the requirement to maintain in perpetuity are some of the standard practices for all types of mines - not exclusive to uranium. All mining is a long term proposition, the implications are that we don’t need copper, zinc, iron, nickel, lithium, etc .

Nuclear power would be an excellent clean energy idea. The waste is insignificant compared to the energy gain. If you're not familiar with the subject, I suggest you educate yourself before commenting.

#Nuclear power can replace fossil fuel and produce CO2 neutral synfuel (jetA1 and diesel) and synthetic plastics, and remove emissions from concrete and steel production.
