@zeebashew.bsky.social has a really good video on a good dungeon encounter to help the players relax a bit and gives them a boon for comfort. I've thrown the same puzzle into one of my dungeons after some intense encounters to help cleanse the pallet youtu.be/k-P6Ys_EHME

Let's go, love seeing it go back to Cali 🥇

It can be but I mostly chalk that up to inexperience. If anything it can help speed some things up as players build a plan and execute it from top to bottom. There is a lot of discussion at the start of rounds, but once the ball starts to roll everyone falls in line.

Been really liking initiative-less games lately. Instead of rolling when you go, the players go back and forth with the GM. Allows for fluid comboing off each other and adapting to situations more logically. Everyone goes once a round, but order is up to the players.

I dragged my feet to play sekiro and it turned out to be my favorite of them all. I much preferred the quicker combat and the change in setting themes. Can't argue against DS3 and ER though, loved them both. Now if only Bloodborne would come to PC so I can try it for the first time

Kaladar - Cook a finer meal than the party usually gets to have. With time off, that nights dinner would for sure be a big upgrade to the usual meals.

This was our group's biggest confusion, along with what weapon mounts support what type of weapons. But once we figured it out it was a lot of fun.

Got a favorite thematically, narratively and mechanically?

Man I feel this way with coding all the time, but I like to think this is just the barrier before reaching the next skill level. The part where you are aware of your mistakes and know how to improve. Keep it up, I've been loving your OC art!

The combat in Lancer is the most fun I've had in any TTRPG so far. Agreed that the narrative side can require a bit of work but it's still passable and isn't much of a detractor. Anyone who is looking for a change from high fantasy settings should check this out.

As a White Witch pilot, witch/pyro combos can bite my shiny metal ass

Luckily I got to play some Lancer over the weekend to stave off the need to consume my dice but is there really such thing as enough dice rolling?
