Except it’s not just some guy. It’s a whole country. We are about to find out just how non-essential the US can make itself to the rest of the world.

This whole tariff thing reminds me of when some guy who buys his own hype (I’m the greatest, nobody can get by without me) pushes it so far that everyone says… turns out we CAN get by without you, and then he ends up sad and alone drinking in the corner muttering “they’ll be sorry” into his beer
