And I can't see any way that DOESN'T come out in court. It's an obvious, direct, in-the-vote comparison. CA stops if TX pulls back, how would the DoJ argue it's not relevant?

The "ongoing investigation" does, unfortunately, seem to guarantee a long litigation in the courts for any release of documents. LUV how Door Dash is the new BLS and already on board with being found guilty of corrupt practices!
