Twelve years ago today this little guy ,Jackson, came into our house and made it his... He grew up to be a 135lb boy and he was gentle beyond words... We lost him just over a year ago now and he leaves a crater in our thoughts and lives...

It is Remembrance Day in Canada and all the guys in this picture returned home after the war. Many many of their friends and countrymen didn't. I'll be forever humbled by their sacrifices...
