A record 1,611 people — including 11 children — died while homeless in 2024.

Both Labour and the Conservatives have failed to fix Britain’s housing crisis.

A home is not a privilege.
A home is a human right.

Right-wing politicians are claiming that inequality is falling in the UK based on a tiny change in one national statistic. This is not the case in reality. Inequality is rising. In this post, I explain why and what we can and should do about it.

Renewable energy has overtaken coal as the world's largest energy source.

Developing nations are now leading the way towards the green energy transition. As the West are still trying to cling on to the energy sources of the past.

As the world moves forwards and embraces renewable energy,

At Conference, the Tories plot to drag us back — abolishing the Climate Change Act and ‘maximising extraction’ of North Sea oil and gas.

I'd actually forgotten how extraordinary it is that when I won the leadership - I wasn't interviewed as it was too close to our party conference interviewed.

And then refused a second time!

Part of the antidote to all of this is creating our own media platforms.

Green sources say the show also refused to interview Polanski after he was elected as leader last month

Ofwat has just announced a 36% increase to waterbills.

Since privatisation, water companies have paid out £78 billion in dividends to shareholders.

Water is being treated like a luxury, not a human right, and enough is enough.

We need to nationalise water now.

The Home Office is set to give police greater authority to restrict protests, allowing officers to consider the "cumulative impact" of repeated demonstrations.

This is an attack on democracy. The Labour government just doesn't like being held accountable for their actions.

We must all keep speaking out.

Thanks for all the kind words for this pretty combatative interview.

The truth is simple. Let's just all keep telling the truth.

Through a programme of unprecedented council house building, taxation and housing those who need it, a Green government would eliminate profit from a human right.

Housing for all.

This is grim & dangerous over reach.

This is a government that have lost the moral argument & are still selling arms to Israel. Now further cracking down on dissent.

Absolutely the opposite of what they should be doing - so of course this is what the Labour Government choose.

NEW: Home Office announces planned new anti-protest powers, mainly aimed at pro-Gaza protests like those for Palestine Action. Police will be able to consider the "cumulative impact" of repeated protests and potentially order that they be relocated.
